We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient diagnosis and treatment in an Indian healthcare setting. Key responsibilities • Collect, process, and analyze patient samples (blood, urine, other body fluids) accurately and efficiently. • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology. • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting minor issues. • Adhere to strict quality control procedures and laboratory safety protocols as per NABL guidelines. • Document test results meticulously and maintain accurate records. • Assist in inventory management of laboratory reagents and consumables. • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure timely reporting of critical results. Qualifications and certifications • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) from a recognized institution. • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. • Proficiency in operating automated lab equipment. • Strong understanding of laboratory quality control and safety standards. • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Valid professional registration where legally required • Current role-specific certifications preferred Required skills • Clinical judgement • Patient communication • Team collaboration • Documentation • Safety and compliance
